I forgot to post all the photos from Dusseldorfs newest street art gallery called Take a Butchers. I was lucky enough to be a part of the opening show alongside My Dog Sighs, M-One and Los Dave.

Play & Destroy is the latest show at the amazing Play Dead gallery in Southsea. Featuring over 40 skate decks from some of the UKs best street artists this is a show full of variety that is not to be missed. Czee painted the wall out front and I got a little space inside the gallery for a skatedeck shaped korpworm.
Very happy to be a part of the Urban Art group show at Chapel Arts in Cheltenham. Here are some photos of my pieces available at the show (including some work in progress shots). Scroll down for a link for more photos from the the other artists including My Dog Sighs, Mason Storm, Dice67, TankPetrol and many more.
Big thanks to Dice 67 for hooking me up. There is no shortage of great photographers in Southsea. These shots were taken at my solo show in Play Dead by the talented Matt Maber. Social links below photos. On the 11th June I started a 4 week solo show at Play Dead gallery in Southsea. The opening night was a huge success with long queues outside, a packed gallery and a flurry of red dots. There are a lot of people to thank for getting me to that point but I have to start with Samo and Lex who let me exhibit in their gallery. Also got to say thanks to M-One for helping with the paste ups and spreading the word leading up to the show, Hannah, Donna and Samo for letting me crash with them and everyone that backed me on the Kickstarter to help fund the show. Lastly but not leastly a massive thank you to everyone that came to watch me paint the wall and all that attended the opening night, it was great. THANK YOU SOUTHSEAI wanted to explore a darker side of my art for the show and ended up with a couple of recurring themes, the most notable of which was the blackworm. The blackworm character is my representation of mental illness. Many of the pieces I created at the show had very small blackworms in them so the artwork looked pretty normal on face value but as you look closer or scratch beneath the surface you will find the blackworms are there. If you visit the show you'll also see the story of how the blackworm originally manifests itself in words and thoughts, at times it takes over completely but can also be controlled with messy consequences. In more severe forms the blackworm can be deadly and this is captured in the piece titled "Please Don't Leave Me". WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM METhere are many more messages and themes within the show that deal with anxiety and addiction which I would be happy to expand on but I'm really interested to hear what everyone else thinks so please let me know what it says to you. I was blessed with the attention of some fantastic photographers and Instagramers over the days leading up to the show, below are a selection of photographs from the wall and show. If you have any photos you would like added please get in touch. howard hurd fivearchitectsg3rzegorzI still cant decide which version I like best. Jon_TyrrellteresaJACK WILLIAMSONInstagram user Jack Williamson came along and recorded a timelapse of day 2. From the 11th June I will be holding a 4 week solo show at Play Dead gallery in Portsmouth. Open evening is on the 11th between 7pm and 9pm. There will be lots of new work on display including a customised surfboard, marker pen korpworms and multi layer stencil art. The first people through the door will get Korp goodie bags. Here are a few teasers to wet your appetite.
Very excited to announce my solo show at the Play Dead street art gallery in Portsmouth. Opening night will be on the 11th June and the exhibition will last for 4 weeks. Its free entry and the first people through the door will get a bag full of awesomeness from me. If you can make it please let me know via the Facebook event page here.
What a great way to start the weekend! My Kickstarter is fully funded which means a massive thanks to everyone that has pledged or shared the campaign page over the past three weeks. The funding will go towards printing stickers, badges, temporary tattoo sheets, limited edition prints, t-shirts, hoodies and art materials for my exhibition at the Play Dead tattoo studio and street art gallery in Southsea. To be kept up to date with the latest details of the exhibition and dates for the preview night please sign up for my newsletter. There is still time to pledge and grab yourself a bargain. The limited edition prints at £20 are nearly sold out, only 4 remaining of 20 as I write this and the "full bundle" is a great bargain where you get stickers, badges, tattoos, a t-shirt and a hoodie all for just £65 (save £20). Lots more combos to choose from on the Kickstarter page. To find out more about Play Dead visit the Strong Island website for articles on previous exhibitions including Kazland & Funns and My Dog Sighs plus a special interview with owners Samo and Lex. I've been given an opportunity to have a solo exhibition at the Play Dead street art gallery on the south coast of England so I'm running a Kickstarter campaign to help me pay for it.

Friday 13th November was the preview night for My Dog Sighs "Quiet Little Voices" exhibition at Play Dead in Southsea so what better reason to take a three hour drive down for lots of good company and great art.
Of course I couldn't take a trip to Southsea without dropping off some free art. The first was left on the seafront in what I think was the same location as one of my first ever Free Art Friday drops. The second was right outside the fantastic Play Dead art gallery and tattoo studio.
Play Dead is a fantastic new street art gallery and tattoo studio in Southsea run by artists Lex and Samo. You can find it on Highland Road, you wont be able to miss it because outside is a huge wall that gets painted by the exhibiting artist. Although its early days there is talk of me having an exhibition at Play Dead early next year, sign up to my email to make sure you don't miss the invite to the preview night. In the meantime check out what My Dog Sighs did for his Quiet Little Voices exhibition.
Stepping inside it is a perfectly formed space. A large window display for 3D works, clothing to buy from local artists and long wall for several pieces of art to be displayed. Moving towards the back you'll find the purchase desk full of stickers and badges and behind that the tattoo studio.
Although not my best 360 photo (there were a lot of people moving) the tour below gives you an idea of what the place looks like. Doesn't compare to actually visiting the place, saying hi to Lex and Samo and maybe making a little purchase to help support this brand new venue.
