I've really enjoyed sketching in this small square spiral bound sketchbook. The brown paper is perfect for paintmarkers. Thought you might like to see some of the results.

Yesterday I launched my first ever colouring in competition with a chance to win an urban art bundle. This is open to school age children who must enter the competition through a participating school or arts organisation. It is free to enter and you will get a customised colouring sheet like the one below with your schools name in the banner. For more details click here.
I managed to blag a spot at the Junk Yard Jam up in Crewe over the weekend. Lots of great artists there including a couple of faves in Jay Sharples and TankPetrol. Huge thanks to Andy, Mike and Urban Artistry for being such great hosts. Cant wait to come back again. I was back in my adopted hometown of Southsea on Saturday 9th February at the Spray for your Soul event. This was a small paint jam hosted by Staggering Good Brewery at their new bar the House of Rapture. This venue is amazing and I highly recommend you go visit. Set in the heart of an industrial estate from the outside it looks like any regular work unit until you spot the neon purple cross hanging above the door which is a small hint on what to expect when you go inside. The entire venue has been fitted with reclaimed materials from a church with pews for seating, full size stained glass windows throwing the warmest light across a smattering of Dinosaur heads and giant crosses. You have to see it to believe it, hats off to the owners for doing such an amazing job and being such gracious hosts. Also big thanks to Samo at Play Dead for inviting me along to paint with him, M-One, Winniemmay and Syrup. Check out the photos courtesy of Make Light Work and if you like what you see all the artists Insta links are down the bottom. As you can see the venue was dark with just a small heater above me providing my only source of light. This added to the mood of the place but presented a challenge for an artist painting a mural. Luckily I had Mike on hand from Make Light Work who kindly set up a battery powered LED light to help me see what I was doing. So cool that some people just have these things lying in their car. Although you might not be able to tell from the photo I was pretty happy with how my piece looked. The geometric pattern in the background looked good in different shades of grey and the custom korpworm, now know as korposaurus, popped out nicely. All done with stencils and spray paints. Although I'm not from Portsmouth I was invited to take part in the Created in Portsmouth Arts Trail. Portsmouth, and Southsea in particular, have always been very important to me and have helped me along the way of becoming the artist I am today. Here are some of the photos from the home of Winniemmay who kindly invited me to exhibit with her.
Urban portraits are back, if you are interested in getting a one layer stencil of you or a loved one then get in touch. Here is an example of what you will get.
It was the 1 year anniversary of Battle Lines so organiser Cur5 put on a special show featuring 10 artists. I was on a team of 5 battling against another 5 artists in a two hour live art show. Check out what we did. Ably supported by Team Korp
Huge thanks to Andy and Angela for organising the Cheltenham Paint Festival and doing such a great job of running it. Also big ups to all the volunteers who supported the event especially Dan who was artist liaison at my venue the 2 Pigs. This was the second year I'd painted at the 2 Pigs so I was keen to do something different, hope you like it. I really enjoyed painting this geometric pattern and I'm keen to do more so if you have a wall you want to blow some cash on give me a shout. Always love it when a wall is the back drop for a band or a DJ. This years 2 Pigs crew was Raffaella Bertolini, Tommy Fiendish, Jimmer Willmott, Wolf Skull Jack and RTC with a late visit from My Dog Sighs who, I think, painted at every venue and witnessed every fight in Cheltenham over the weekend.
Here is a recent commissioned mural at The Ostrich in Peterborough. If you haven't heard of the place it has quickly turned into a hub for street artists with regular exhibitions and art battles. I was very pleased to take a couple of walls and create Korps corner. The lyrics on the wall are from a band that has played at The Ostrich called The Malingerers. I chose this song because it has such a powerful first verse. As I was finishing off the uber talented Pigeon La Rue was in setting up her solo show and what an amazing combination her framed pieces and my wall made together. If you like what you see you can find more on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter or better still sign up for my newsletter for news, views and discounts.
