Irony invited me down to London to paint at his new venue the Nags Head Market. The only issue was that it was painting freehand on shutters which I've never done before. Keeping in mind that fear of failure holds you back I went down with a positive attitude that even if I bombed it would be a good learning experience. It was meant to be a worm head but I get that it looks more like a fish, either way I was pleased with the result. Shutters are not as bad as I thought, the uneven surface gives you a lot of leeway in your lines which was a good thing for a first timer. Here are some of the other artists paintings...
Huge thanks to everyone involved in Korpfest.
The artists for donating their time and talent and producing such diverse and, in many cases, thought provoking art. All you visitors for showing up in big numbers and especially those that supported the artists by buying their artwork. It means a lot. All the bloggers, photographers and videographers for sharing content. It really helps spread the word and grow the event. The sponsors, Eastern Angles, Paper Cloud and Nathan Jones Decorating for giving me the tools, support and creative freedom to pull the event together. My biggest thank you, however, goes to the crew. Nathan, Harriet, Hayley and dinnerlady Nicola. I couldn't do this without you. Hope you all enjoyed yourself. Catch you sometime next year at Korpfest 3. These awesome photos are by VIPHOTOGRAPHY.

As part of Korpfest2.1 we had Ink Imaginarium working from a Korp flash sheet with fantastic results.
Had a great time at Bring The Paint 2019 pasting up over 100 Korpworm posters. Huge thanks to Izzy and the gang for organising such a great festival. Bring The Paint T-Shirt CampaignI loved the poster so much I decided to put it on a t-shirt. You can pre-order your own t-shirt before 30th June for just £16.99, after that the price goes up to £21.99.
Over the weekend I had the opportunity to paint in my old hometown of Market Deeping as part of the Celebrating Our High Streets initiative. It was a blustery day, dangerously so, so we moved off the high street into an alley full of shops. My board was a little smaller than I was used to so I paced myself in order to fill the whole day with live art. Huge thanks to the organisers for stepping forward and pulling this together at the last minute and for everyone that stopped by to say hello. As well as my live art there was also free poems being written by Charley Genever and Claire Currie and a stilt walker from Giggle Town Arts to keep the kids amused. Check them out. ADVERT
