I totally failed at Inktober this year. I got halfway through and then just got too busy to spare time for the project. I've kept the prompts though to try and finish before next Inktober if possible. Here are my first few attempts. Many sold but a few are still available.

Had a great time at Bring The Paint 2019 pasting up over 100 Korpworm posters. Huge thanks to Izzy and the gang for organising such a great festival. Bring The Paint T-Shirt CampaignI loved the poster so much I decided to put it on a t-shirt. You can pre-order your own t-shirt before 30th June for just £16.99, after that the price goes up to £21.99.
I've really enjoyed sketching in this small square spiral bound sketchbook. The brown paper is perfect for paintmarkers. Thought you might like to see some of the results. I managed to blag a spot at the Junk Yard Jam up in Crewe over the weekend. Lots of great artists there including a couple of faves in Jay Sharples and TankPetrol. Huge thanks to Andy, Mike and Urban Artistry for being such great hosts. Cant wait to come back again. As promised here are all the photos from last weekends paint festival Urban Culture Coventry. If you like these don't forget to check out the Tamworth photos.
Had a great time painting at Urban Culture Coventry. Although the main event was in Fargo Village me and Kiwi descended on the City Centre to paint in the middle of the Pride march. More photos from the rest of Urban Culture Coventry to follow...
Over the last few months I've been producing a limited edition of 20 blue-eyed Stoners. The first set of 5 were released and sold on the preview night of In Quiet Desperation with the second set of 5 released on my website and selling out within 15 minutes. The final 10 will be available to email subscribers only so if you are after getting your hands on one then sign up for my email. It only takes a few seconds and is your last chance to get hold of a blue-eyed Stoner. Battle Lines IV was the first time for a team battle. It saw me partner up with Amanda Rigby while Process Smith joined forces with Arran Macphail. The Big Rig and I met up a few weeks before the event to discuss tactics and we decided to recreate a Christmas dinner scene with a twist. Some saw it as controversial but the Krampus worm was intended respectfully. What do you think, did we overstep the mark? Battle Lines is always a great night out with music, food and art but this was special and as ever Tony Nero captured it all on camera which you can see on the slideshow below. Its the last Friday of every month at The Ostrich if you fancy coming along. Search Battle Lines on Facebook and Instagram for more deets. |
