I love the mix of the grungy background and the delicate foreground that plays with my ongoing theme of how the masks we wear cover what is really going on underneath.
The ornate gold frame has also been painted and sprayed symbolising that the darkness cannot be contained.
Made from a hand drawn and hand cut stencil based on several Mucha posters and represents a future direction for my artwork.
