Up Against The Wall was my Upfest 2012 wall that I painted with Mrs Korp. It was the worm army but also featured a multi layer stencil of one of the Minikorps that featured on the Culture Show a few years back. Check out the pics from the event and the new range of merch available based on it. PHONE CASESThe new cases are constructed from the Amorphous Polymer which is a very strong plastic. Unlike previous cases these are not hand-drawn which means they are long life because the image is embedded directly into the case. There are two types to choose from. The Snap is a slim fitting one-piece clip-on case and the Tough is a clip-on case with a unique black inner silicon absorbing sleeve to take the stress from a drop. Available for the following styles with prices starting at just over £18:

*Everyone who buys art directly from me gets some of these totally unique hand-drawn stickers for free.
It's like Free Art Friday but not as catchy or popular. I'm going to give away my "Pie in the Sky" bottle. There are no rules you just need to do something to make me realise you want it.
In addition to all the other Rutterworm merchandise you can now get your hands on a tote bag. Prices range from £11.52 for a small bag to £14.96 for a large bag.
Buoyed by yesterday's sale of an army of worms piece I decided to do a slightly bigger one. For this one the title is taken from Chandelier by Sia which is constantly playing in the house at the moment while my 4 year old daughter dances around the studio. Listening to the lyrics it sounds like a song that deals with the demons of alcoholism or binge drinking so naturally I was drawn to it.
I've been going through one of my creative lulls but the procrastination has taken the form of updating my blog and adding stuff to Red Bubble like the Rutterworm so it's not all bad. In order to get over the hump I've forced myself to draw and this is what I've come up with. Its a really old version of the Korpworms similar to the ones the started it all in the Sketchbook Project back in 2011. This is the first piece of art I've done for weeks.
They are all Korpworms but every now and then one of them becomes attached to someone in my life. The Rutterworm is unassuming in nature and has a great eye for detail. The original canvas is happily living with its rightful owner but you can still have a piece with the Rutterworm merchandise now available. Read on for details... Back in the day I used to cut portraits, these are some of my favourites... Scroll to the bottom for a time-lapse video of a korptrait being painted and a link to more. If you would like to commission a portrait for Christmas get in touch now. The best collection of my urban portraits can be found on Flickr.
For two days only Red Bubble are offering a 15% discount on my t-shirt. The tee features one of my favourite socialist quotes "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" which I think also fits well with the Free Art Friday movement I've been a part of for so long. Unlike Free Art Friday you'll need to pay for this gem but with 15% off you could have this delivered to you door for a shade over £19. Don't miss out! Click here and use the code RBTEES15 before it runs out. Big thanks to the people at Niji Magazine for featuring me on their site. Click here to jump to the site, plenty of great content.
