Recently I was asked by Upfest to paint up a book press for the launch of their new book. Lots of other artists took part in the project and today all the pieces were officially revealed.
The book launches are in London at Relentless Number 5 on the 1st December and in Bristol at the Upfest Gallery on the 2nd December, if you are interested in attending click on the links at the bottom of this post but if thats not possible you can take a look at all the book presses here or on the Upfest Facebook page. These new paste ups are on vintage paper and headed for Southsea. If anyone else fancies putting out paste ups for me get in touch.
I've started working with Mercht to produce some enamel mugs. They print and post everything for me which means I get to spend more time making art than posting it. Campaigns are time bound so you only have a few days to place your order with them. Custom-printed, retro style high quality 10oz / 284ml enamel mugs are durable, long-lasting and perfect for use at home as well as for camping and outdoor activities. Hand crafted and coated with a bright white enamel paint, each cup is then finished with a silver rim. Due to the manufacturing process is totally individual in its finish which is part of their charm. Enamel Mugs can be used for hot or cold drinks, serving up side dishes such as chips, storing cutlery, or even to present the bill. Important please note: Due to the hand-crafted nature of the enamel mug each product will differ slightly and is expected to contain light defects such as dimples, colour blemishes and black dots. Enamel mugs are NOT microwave safe. The enamel mug is recommended to be hand-washed and fully hand-dried to maintain the optimum quality and longevity. Please bear this in mind before purchasing. After creating the mugs I couldnt resist setting up some t-shirts. Available in Heavy, Softstyle and unisex from S to 2XL.
I'm very pleased to announce the release of 5 limited edition hand painted icon bottles. The icon bottles are titled Born, Lifted, Lost, Found and Free. Each bottle is symbolic of a stage of life and features a tiny blackworm among the drops. Made from aluminium cans still full of diet cola (so you can drink it if you like) these have been hand painted using spray paint and Posca paint markers.
This weekend saw the opening night of Nothing Is Lost by Midge at the Play Dead gallery. A fantastic selection of serene artwork with an intricacy that has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
