My favourite thing about this artwork was SkeletonCardboards suggestion that some people are full of beans!!!

Very happy to be a part of the Urban Art group show at Chapel Arts in Cheltenham. Here are some photos of my pieces available at the show (including some work in progress shots). Scroll down for a link for more photos from the the other artists including My Dog Sighs, Mason Storm, Dice67, TankPetrol and many more.
Big thanks to Dice 67 for hooking me up. I've had a productive weekend..here is the proof. Told you I'd been busy...this is the first weekend I've felt fit and well for a long time...and it shows. My favourite paint jam of the year was the Burnham Spray Jam held on the weekend of the 13th/14th August 2016 in the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea. I was invited by the organiser and all round amazing human Becky Lyons to paint with around another 50 artists all along the high street. My venue was The Coffee Corner Company. Huge thank you to Becky for organising such a great event and Zena for letting me paint all over her coffee shop (and buying korpworm tees for the staff).
Another great weekend at Upfest and this year I got to paint in my own venue. It was a closed down shop that had been taken over by a bar who were hosting a glitter booth, dodgy disco and BBQ so it was a natural fit to squeeze me in there. It was a bit of a goldfish bowl with a massive glass front and a 3.5m wall for me to paint but I got stuck in and painted a small gathering of Korpworms with a leader against a setting sun. I had a slow start so stuck my headphones on and got to work, not as social as previous years but time was short and I needed to make the most of it.
I did get to chat with a few people though, old and new friends, you know who you are, thank you for stopping by, its the best part of the day. Several pieces of free art were dished out to some of the people who were wearing my t-shirts and hoodies but big thanks to everyone that attended in their Korp merch it was great to see so many of my tees walking around the festival. Finally gotta say a massive thank you to the festival organisers for putting on another class event and all the crew and volunteers who make it all run so smooth on the day. Also big thanks to my hosts at Rachels for the beer a food. Always great to see so many friends there just a shame it was all work for me this year with no time to take it all in. Here are a few photos of me in action (I use the term loosely). On the 11th June I started a 4 week solo show at Play Dead gallery in Southsea. The opening night was a huge success with long queues outside, a packed gallery and a flurry of red dots. There are a lot of people to thank for getting me to that point but I have to start with Samo and Lex who let me exhibit in their gallery. Also got to say thanks to M-One for helping with the paste ups and spreading the word leading up to the show, Hannah, Donna and Samo for letting me crash with them and everyone that backed me on the Kickstarter to help fund the show. Lastly but not leastly a massive thank you to everyone that came to watch me paint the wall and all that attended the opening night, it was great. THANK YOU SOUTHSEAI wanted to explore a darker side of my art for the show and ended up with a couple of recurring themes, the most notable of which was the blackworm. The blackworm character is my representation of mental illness. Many of the pieces I created at the show had very small blackworms in them so the artwork looked pretty normal on face value but as you look closer or scratch beneath the surface you will find the blackworms are there. If you visit the show you'll also see the story of how the blackworm originally manifests itself in words and thoughts, at times it takes over completely but can also be controlled with messy consequences. In more severe forms the blackworm can be deadly and this is captured in the piece titled "Please Don't Leave Me". WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM METhere are many more messages and themes within the show that deal with anxiety and addiction which I would be happy to expand on but I'm really interested to hear what everyone else thinks so please let me know what it says to you. I was blessed with the attention of some fantastic photographers and Instagramers over the days leading up to the show, below are a selection of photographs from the wall and show. If you have any photos you would like added please get in touch. howard hurd fivearchitectsg3rzegorzI still cant decide which version I like best. Jon_TyrrellteresaJACK WILLIAMSONInstagram user Jack Williamson came along and recorded a timelapse of day 2. Very pleased to announce a run of limited edition prints will be available on the opening night of my solo show. Southsea artist M-One (Facebook and Instagram) has captured the process of creating the prints in the following photos. To see the finished article you'll need to stop by Play Dead gallery.
A one off customised Korpworm snapback commission. The cap is spray painted with Kobra Low and then hand finished with Posca markers.
I finished this canvas a few months ago but never posted any photos of the finished piece because I wanted the commissioner to see it first. It was a giant canvas that I had to get specially made and it took me around 5 months to paint. Check out the work in progress shots below or scroll all the way down to the bottom to see the finished artwork.
After seeing a few friends doing paste ups I thought I'd give it a go. These are my first two attempts and I'm quite happy with them. Both of these boards are 4ft high.
