I wasnt sure what expect from FLUX [beta], was it going to be a series of geek talks, a gamer night out or a glitch hop rave? Turns out it was all of these things and much more. It all sarted with talks from Airborne Platforms who showcased their cinematic drone work and Matt Lancaster who got to show off a laser scanner which generated amazingly accurate 3D images of rooms in minutes.
Next up was a masterclass in electronic music from Skills and Joe followed by a captivating demonstration of virtual reality sculpting by Lee Mason and Process. All this was held together with retro gaming and a live DJ set topped off with an opportunity to play on a VRcade supplied by The Outstanding Events Company.
Lee Mason and co have done a great job pulling this event together and with any luck there will be follow up nights coming soon but the only way you'll know for sure is by joining the Metageist group on Meetup.
